DiSalvo Contracting Identity System
DiSalvo Contracting specializes in complete renovations and new home construction. With over 35 years in the business, they have developed a reputation as one of the best in their trade. They wanted a new identity that would be worthy of their excellent reputation. As a family owned business, their name is well established in their industry, so when designing the logo we wanted to place emphasis on that asset. As a visual link to their trade, and to signal their expert craftsmanship, I interwove a plumb bob with the letter “A” in their name. The plumb bob is a tool of precision, and is used to ensure perfect vertical structures. It is one of the oldest tools of their trade (documents all the way back to ancient Egypt), and is still used today.
