This vase was handmade utilizing material commonly found in my sculptures. The bamboo is first laser cut, then glued together by hand. The rich dark edges are a result of the laser cut burn. The bottom half is molded to shape using high quality paper. Due to the process of hand mixing and molding, each piece of solid paper is unique in texture and/or color.
Green by design!
Bamboo is an environmentally friendly material and the premium paper I use would otherwise have been discarded.
